Welcome to our pet travel guides!

Whether you are visiting your Aunt Betty in Boston, your friend Francis in Fiji, or you've decided to make the big move to Memphis, you may find that air travel with your four-legged family members is a little bit more complicated than you might have originally thought. Well, have no fear! We have taken the time to review the pet travel policies of several major airlines from around the world and we've assembled them here for your convenience.

Below, you will find airlines listed by their country of origin. We have noted which pets will be accepted, carrier requirements, travel restrictions, and other valuable and interesting information to help you prepare for your trip.

Keep in mind that animals travelling with you tend to fall into one of the following three categories:

  • Carry-on luggage - small enough to be stowed under the seat in front of you
  • Checked baggage - stowed in the baggage compartment of the airplane
  • Cargo (or "manifest cargo") - which may require travel on a different flight

Please note: Cargo is normally only an option if your pet does not qualify for travel aboard a particular airline, or if your pet will be travelling unaccompanied.
