Air China is the national flag carrier of China and a proud member of Star Alliance, the world's largest airline network. They currently offer domestic, regional, and international service to over 140 cities in 30 countries worldwide.
Air China will accept domesticated dogs, cats, and birds for transport in the cargo hold of the aircraft only. They will not accept any animals in the cabin of any flight, with the exception of certified service dogs which have been granted prior approval. Animals may not be accommodated on all flights. Air China recommends that anyone wishing to travel with their pet should contact their Call Center before travelling to ensure that all requirements have been fulfilled.

Domestic routes - maximum total weight of the carrier, pet, food, and water is 45 kg (99 lbs).
International routes - maximum total weight of the carrier, pet, food, and water is 32 kg (70 lbs).
If total weight exceeds the maximum weight, your pet will be checked in and charged as cargo instead of checked baggage.

Pets may not be accepted on flights operated by codeshare partners. It is strongly recommended that you contact any codeshare partners or other airlines you will be travelling with to familiarize yourself with their individual policies regarding pet travel.
