SriLankan Airlines is the Sri Lankan flag carrier. Since their launch in 1979, they have earned an outstanding reputation for safety, reliability, punctuality, and customer service. SriLankan Airlines will only accept pets for travel in the cargo holds of their aircraft, and only if proper documentation is presented. This can include valid health and vaccination certificates, as well as other documents required by the country you are planning to travel to. Pets and carriers do not count as part of your baggage allowance. Anyone travelling with a pet should be prepared to pay excess baggage fees.
