Air France is the national carrier of France and a founding member of SkyTeam, an international alliance of 19 airlines that make up one of the world's largest air travel networks. In 2004, Air France merged with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and formed the Air France KLM Group, currently the largest European airline group. Although both airlines still operate under their own brands and banners, together they make up an impressive network that covers some 230 destinations in over 100 countries around the globe.
Air France offers national and international pet travel options. If you will be travelling with your animal companion you are advised to contact an Air France travel advisor to discuss all options that may be available to you.
Air France complies with all International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards and regulations.

If you are unable to travel with your pet, or if your pet does not meet the standards for in-cabin or checked baggage transportation, Air France KLM Cargo can help. Their Variation® Live program was designed specifically to suit the needs of animals in transit. They also have specialized facilities and specially trained staff to help ensure your pet's safety and comfort. Animals travelling via Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport also have the option of spending time in their exclusive Pet Hotel, where pets receive all the luxuries of home, and a little more.
Pets may not be accepted on interline flights or flights operated by codeshare partners. It is strongly recommended that you contact any codeshare partners or other airlines directly to familiarize yourself with their individual policies regarding pet travel.
