Finnair is Finland's flagship carrier and a proud member of the oneworld® alliance. They offer an impressive network of flights across Finland and regular international service throughout Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Asia-Pacific, and North America.
Finnair will allow pets to travel either in-cabin or as checked baggage. Small cats, dogs, rabbits, and some rodents may be permitted to travel in an approved carrier in the cabin of the aircraft. Other animals may be accepted in the cargo hold, so long as all requirements for travel are satisfied.
Fees for transporting pets are based on three zones:

In the event that you are not able to travel with your pet, Finnair Cargo has options for pets traveling unaccompanied. They ask that bookings be made at least two weeks in advance for international destinations, and at least one week in advance for domestic destinations. Anyone shipping live animals must comply with all International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations and must provide all necessary documentation.
Pets may not be accepted on flights operated by codeshare partners. It is strongly recommended that you contact any codeshare partners or other airlines directly to familiarize yourself with their individual policies regarding pet travel.
