If you will be travelling with your pet, they will permit small dogs, cats, rabbits and birds to travel in the cabin of most domestic flights within the continental United States. Pet carriers for in-cabin travel are also available at some United Airlines check-in counters for a fee, but are subject to availability. Customers are encouraged to contact their Reservations line to notify Customer Service agents that they are planning to travel with their pet, and to confirm carrier availability ahead of time.
