US Airways operates over 3000 flights per day and serves some 200 destinations in 31 countries worldwide. They are also a proud member of the Star Alliance family, the world's largest airline network.
Currently, they will permit one small domestic dog, cat, or bird per passenger for transport in the cabin of the aircraft. The number of animals on a given flight depends on the size of the aircraft and availability. If you plan on travelling with your pet, they ask that you call the Reservations line in advance to ensure that your animal companion will be able to travel with you.
For safety reasons, US Airways will not accept pets in the cargo hold of any US Airways or US Airways Shuttle flights. Travelers are reminded that a pet in the cabin will count toward your carry-on baggage allowance.

Although US Airways Cargo states specifically that they do carry fish and some cold-blooded animals, they do not transport any live warm-blooded animals. It is recommended that you contact a Cargo Service agent to see what options are available to you. If your pet will be travelling unaccompanied, you may need to make arrangements with another airline.
Pets may not be accepted on flights operated by codeshare and interline partners. It is strongly recommended that you contact any codeshare partners or other airlines directly to familiarize yourself with their individual policies regarding pet travel.
